Fellow Kittens, who can relate to needing a break from meat and wanting a nice bag of potato chips once in awhile? Anyone? I know our obligate carnivore status has caused much speculation among human “cat experts” about whether we should eat carbohydrates at all. Silly humans, we cats are experts in regulating ourselves, and when we are fed high carbohydrate diets, we actually eat less overall to accommodate this type of menu. Aren’t we brilliant? Personally, whilst I find chicken mouthwatering – especially when stolen from my human’s countertop – every so often I crave some tantalizing tubers or a nice slice of pepperoni pizza.
